INGUIDE Courses: International Guideline Training and Certification

The INGUIDE Program is pleased to offer two pre-conference training courses on December 7, the day preceding the Cochrane Colloquium 2026.
The courses are held in conjunction with the Cochrane Colloquium Krakow 2026 (8–10 December, ICE Kraków Congress Centre).
These courses are designed for health professionals, researchers, and policymakers involved in or preparing to contribute to clinical and public health guideline development. Building on the GIN-McMaster approach, participants will gain structured, internationally recognized training in the principles and practice of trustworthy guideline development.
- Course 1: Certified Guideline Panel Member + Adolopment
An introductory course covering the role and responsibilities of guideline panel members, the guideline development process, PICO question generation, outcomes assessment, conflict of interest management, and consumer and stakeholder involvement. Followed by an Adolopment Module that provides trainees with an overview of the process and steps of using the GRADE-ADOLOPMENT approach for the development of health guidelines.
Pre-requisite: None
- Course 2: Certified Guideline Methodologist
An advanced course for those taking on a methodologist role in guideline development, covering evidence synthesis, GRADE, developing and wording recommendations, and implementation considerations.
Pre-requisite: Course 1 - Certified Guideline Panel Member
Both courses form part of the INGUIDE certification pathway.
